FABnyc supports 27 arts, cultural, and community groups throughout the Lower East Side that range in size from volunteer-run art collectives to nationally renowned theaters. All reflect the surrounding neighborhood and the City.

Renowned visual arts organization that commissions produces and presents public art of all disciplines citywide. 

Cooper Square Committee
Committee contributing to the preservation and development of affordable, environmentally healthy housing and community/cultural spaces. 

Cooper Square Mutual Housing Association
Association that provides extensive assistance organizing tenants and preparing them for cooperative ownership of their homes. 

Downtown Art
Youth theater company creating original works and adaptations; youth serve as artists and staff. 

Duo Multicultural Arts Center
Performance and film company that creates original work, with history of support for Latino Artists. 

IATI Theater 
A place for a different kind of Latin American work - where boundaries are broken and experimentation encouraged. 

La MaMa E.T.C.
Renowned international theater organization, legendary for experimental productions. 

Millennium Film Workshop
Center supporting emerging independent film artists through ongoing screenings, access to production/editing equipment. 

New York Neo-Futurists
Collective of writer / director / performers who attempt to finish 30 plays in 60 minutes every week. 

New York Theatre Workshop
Leading New York theater, accalimed for its premieres of original, contemporary work. 

Paradise Factory
Workshop and producer of new original film and theater works; offers master classes and opportunities for emerging artists. 

Rod Rodger Dance Company
