Taste of The East Village

Join FABnyc and many others at the The Cooper Square Committee 3rd annual Taste of the East Village Festival on Saturday, Oct. 6th from Noon to 5 pm. The fundraiser benefits their housing preservation, tenant and small business rights organizing work. In the past year, they have lead a successful city-wide campaign to reform the city’s code enforcement and strengthen tenant rights. In April, they completed the development of the Bea Arthur Residence for homeless LGBT youth, and the 18 residents moved in during the month of May.
