As part of Messages to Go, FABnyc and Cooper Square Committee will co-host an open meeting for small businesses in the Lower East Side to share their experiences with local organizers and elected officials. The event celebrates the cultural contributions of small businesses, while also using the space to connect local business owners with the resources and networks available to them and advancing discussions around combating cultural displacement in the neighborhood.
This event is open to press, storefront business owners, and local organizers based in the Lower East Side, and will take place at Rossy’s Bakery and Coffee Shop, one of the businesses interviewed and highlighted in Messages to Go.
