Teatro IATI
Home to Paradise Factory, Teatro Circulo, and Teatro IATI’s theater and rehearsal spaces; after renovations, the 2nd and 3rd floors will become a center for Spanish-language theater and training. The building is the birthplace of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union and the Labor Lyceum. In 1903, Mary Harris, better known as Mother Jones, organized hundreds of textile workers here for a march up to Madison Square.

Capital Improvements
The current project will renovate two vacant floors for offices, workshop and rehearsal space and
construction of new black box theater in the basement. Electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems will
be also be upgraded.
