Maria Hupfield of Native Art Department International, DTA+FABnyc 2018 Artists in Residence, is co-organizing a touring exhibition which can be seen at The Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts – Project Space this month.
#callresponse is a touring exhibition with locally responsive programming, a website, social media platform, and publication. EFA Project Space will host the first US presentation from March 23 – May 4, 2018. Illuminating work that is both urgent and enduring, #callresponse is structured as a connective support system that strategically centers Indigenous women within discussion and action around Indigenous cultural revitalization, land-based knowledge, and cross-cultural solidarity building.
